Fitment
Cut for the AGV K3 only. Chin-bar geometry changes from model to model, so a mount shaped for a different helmet will not sit flush and will not bond properly.

Fitting it takes about five minutes
- Wipe the chin bar with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. This step decides how well the mount holds.
- Dry-fit the mount and check your framing before you peel the liner.
- Peel, press hard for 30 seconds, then leave it 24 hours before you ride.
Fit it somewhere warm, between roughly 70 and 100°F (21 to 38°C). 3M VHB reaches most of its bond in the first 24 hours and full strength at around 72 hours.

Questions riders ask
Will it hold at highway speed?
The chin is the lowest-leverage spot on a helmet and the mount is deliberately low-profile, so there is very little for the air to grab. The single biggest factor is prep. A chin bar cleaned with alcohol and left to cure a full 24 hours is what makes the bond hold.
Will it wreck my helmet's finish?
VHB is designed to come off. Warm the mount gently with a hairdryer, peel it back slowly rather than pulling straight out, and lift any residue with an adhesive remover.
Does it change my helmet's safety rating?
Nothing is drilled and nothing is cut, so the shell and the EPS liner are untouched. Worth knowing either way: any accessory added to a helmet sits outside the testing the helmet was originally certified under.
Why 3D printed?
Because it is the only way to justify cutting a different shape for every helmet. Injection moulding needs one tool per model and thousands of units to pay for it, which is exactly why most mounts on the market are one generic shape with a rubber strap.
Can I move it to another helmet later?
The mount is cut for this model, and VHB is single-use, so refitting it needs a fresh adhesive pad.
