Camera Compatibility

Installation Instructions
IMPORTANT — MOUNT ORIENTATION
Before installation, verify that the mount is oriented correctly. The two camera tether holes must face downward, toward the bottom of the helmet. When viewing the helmet from the front, the engraved helmet model should appear on the right side of the mount. Incorrect orientation may prevent proper fitment.
Installation takes approximately 5 minutes, with no drilling or permanent helmet modifications required.
- Clean: Thoroughly wipe the helmet's chin bar with isopropyl alcohol and allow the surface to dry completely.
- Position: Dry-fit the mount to verify correct orientation, alignment, surface contact, and camera framing before removing the adhesive liner.
- Apply: Remove the adhesive backing, carefully position the mount, and apply firm, even pressure for at least 30 seconds.
- Cure: Allow a minimum of 24 hours before riding. For maximum adhesive bond development, allow approximately 72 hours.
Recommended installation temperature: 70–100°F (21–38°C).
Proper surface preparation and curing are essential for optimal adhesive performance. Verify compatibility with your helmet's finish before installation.

Will the mount stay secure at highway speeds?
REVMOUNTS™ are designed with a low-profile geometry to minimize aerodynamic exposure and provide a stable camera mounting position. Proper surface preparation, adhesive contact, and curing are essential for a secure bond. Always inspect the mount before riding and use a secondary camera safety tether.
Will the adhesive damage my helmet?
3M VHB provides a strong, semi-permanent bond. If removal is necessary, gently warming the adhesive and slowly separating the mount may help. However, some helmet finishes may be damaged during removal. Always follow your helmet manufacturer's care recommendations.
Does the mount affect my helmet's safety certification?
REVMOUNTS™ attach externally without drilling or cutting into the helmet shell or EPS liner. However, aftermarket accessories may not be covered by the helmet's original safety certification. Consult your helmet manufacturer's recommendations regarding externally mounted accessories.
Can I move the mount to another helmet?
Each REVMOUNTS™ product is designed for a specific helmet model. Transferring it to another model is not recommended. Additionally, 3M VHB adhesive is single-use and must be replaced following removal.
